Q2 financial results
Circa made steady progress on all fronts in the second quarter, confirming our growth plan is on track. ReSolute has continued to meet key milestones and we have sustained focus on commercial developments where Cyrene™ out-performs. Distributors remain keenly interested in helping us build channels to market and negotiations with them are moving forward. You can read the full report here
Circa Renewable Chemistry Institute
The Circa Renewable Chemistry Institute has been agreed with the University of York. Tasked with supporting customer and market applications for renewable chemicals, the Institute will leverage the knowledge developed on our product at the Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence over the years. This will ensure the continuation of important research into applications for Cyrene™ and the development of other levoglucosenone (LGO)-based solvents.
Arendalsuka – Norway’s festival of democracy
Politicians, NGOs, industry and the public gathered to attend over 1700 sessions at Arendalsuka last week. Circa was there, invited by the Norwegian government to shed light on the country’s sustainable industry transition, specifically the future of forestry biomass.
Introducing Green Kid, the bioeconomy’s first comic book
Green Kid is designed to educate schoolchildren about how the materials used today impact the future. The comic book was put together with the help of Rob McElroy, Deputy Director of the Circa Renewable Chemistry Institute. It features our solvent Cyrene™ as one of the sustainable solutions for a better future, explaining our patented Furacell™ process in a simple way for an audience of schoolchildren and their teachers.
